    Default can i ream my spindles

    im installing different lower arms on my grt and the screw in ball joints only come in the larger size can i use the reamer i have (left over from my street stock days) to enlarge the hole or should i buy new spindles?

    If you have the proper tapered reamer, go for it. I have done it many times.

    Done it for years also on several cars. Just watch the depth and don't go to far.

    Default Another option

    The other option is to get some rebuildable balljoints (i.e. Howe). That way you can just get the correct stud for your application.

    QA1 makes a screw in ball joint with the correct pin for a GRT...part # is 1210-102
