I have three kb carbs and they are rock solid pieces. One of the best in the business.

I too want to convert to e85 but just leArned this week congress voted to stop subsidize funding so the price is going to go up for sure. Might start getting harder to find shortly too?

JDR would be my first choice because I know they work great, no disrespect at all to kb.

    Default e-85

I would also get am e-85 test kit.
This fuel is really inconsistant in its blending, which will cause burnt pistons.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

E85 is awesome but running pump e85 without testing is asking for trouble. The winter blend is much different.

I have a JDR 750 E-85 carb that I bought last year this time. Ran a blend of pump fuel,(e-85) and Rocketbrand, e-85. 2 motors one 383 with 13.1 comp, and one on a 406 14.1 comp. Same carb no changes. The responce was great and engine temp was never an issue. Top 5 car.
I am forced to use a crate engine, this year and this carb will not work for us.Like to sell it,and get another JDR for the crate engine. Text me or use my in box? 440-319-8325 It looks new,and i have the fuel pump and regulator. All from JDR Asking $500

we tried the e85 deal....and had no isssues, I would run it again....but we are back on methanol...we could not seem to get the same power out of the motor on E85.
We had the tester etc...no issues getting fuel.
But the engine clearly had more power on methanol....

now if my choices are gas or E85 then i am going E85.
