paint for aluminum

are u able to paint aluminum sheets any color u want i wanna do a florence green but i dont want it to chip if i hem it or get in a wreck so any ideas would be cool thanks

To get good adhesion you need to use a self etching primer on the bare aluminum first.

instead of painting it it probably would be cheaper and longer lasting is to before you do anything with the sheets put vinyl on them,, you can buy flo green vinyl,, i have bought flo green paint and it wasnt cheap for sure,, the vinyl would be the same as doing a wrap,, let me know how it works, thanks

I have done this before.. Trust me. The paint will fade especially if its out in the sun light any...
