30 paved parking spots REMAIN for the Winter Freeze event at Screven Motor Speedway.

The paved parking spots are going fast! They are good for Feb 8-9 & 10

A new entry, & parking procedure is being put in place w ONE WAY TRAFFIC,
ON & OFF the track n the pits & for Winter Freeze.

The 1st 48 SLM`s & Sprints reserving parking spots will be on the pavement, w 24 slots marked off down the RH side as they come thru the pit gate.

There will be a 'hot pit ' for pit crews behind the backstretch stands
(should be able to hear better also as a result) It will extend to the 1st light pole on either side.

Early campers will have the option of parking on the drag strip, all the way down to the end, with the others in the recently mowed field on the RH side of the drag strip wall Fans enter & park out front . Employees at the trailer @ the dragstrip.

Screven Motor Speedway Announces Host Hotels for 2nd Annual Winter Freeze
Sylvania, GA – Screven Motor Speedway announced today the host hotels for the 2nd Annual Winter Freeze event to be held February 9 – 11, 2012. Two hotels have stepped forward to offer traveling fans and drivers a discounted rate on their accommodations. Both hotels are located right on Highway 21 in Rincon, GA, which is on the same road as the speedway.

The hotels are approximately 30 minutes from the speedway and close to shops, restaurants, stores, and other attractions – such as Historic Downtown Savannah. Both hotels also offer truck parking for racers that are in need of larger spaces to park their trailers as well.

The Days Inn Rincon, who was a host hotel for the Inaugural Winter Freeze, has once again stepped up to offer discounted accommodations for this edition of the Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway.

The Days Inn Rincon has hotel rooms starting at $39.99 per night. The Days Inn Rincon is located at 582 Columbia Ave, Rincon, GA 31326 near Walmart and other shops and can be reached at 912-826-6966.

Also, the Rincon Inn & Suites has come on board this year to offer it's accommodations at a discounted rate as well to racers and fans attending the Winter Freeze event. The Rincon Inn & Suites offers rooms starting at $45 for a single room and $54 for a double room.

The Rincon Inn & Suites is located at 6132 HWY 21 South, Rincon, GA 31326 and can be reached at 912-826-5055. Further information about the Rincon Inn & Suites can be obtained from their website at www.rinconinnandsuites.com.

Both hotels are currently accepting reservations for the event at Screven Motor Speedway and have rooms currently available. To receive the discounted rate simply mention that you are attending the 2nd Annual Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway.
