    Default tubular arm take apart

    can you take the imca style tubular arm apart.. if so how looking to take mine apart and clean them if i can thanks

    Looks like its just snap rings that hold the bushings in place

    you have to cut the ball joint plate down the middle and remove the snap rings. then reweld.

    well thats a stupid design.. i guess thats the way they make there money.. is there any rubber or and seals in there.. looking to bake the grease out and then poweder coat them

    Southwest Speed was $38 2 years ago for aluminum shafts...we bought a bunch, just as good as AFCO...

    We just cut em clean em and put them back on.No need to reweld the balljoint flange holds everything in place.

    There 42.99 for alum shaft. I'm guessing I went through 6 of them last year in about 25 nights. The need to clean them never comes up. lol

    Some are stuck when new, I always clamp them in a vise and grease/rotate them a bunch to get them moving free.
