Boyds speedway reschedules cabin fever 40

Due to the high chance of wet sunshine (rain, rain, rain and more rain) scheduled for late Friday and all day on Saturday, BOYDS SPEEDWAY will use its regularly scheduled rain make up day which will be next Saturday Jan 28th. The schedule will be the same as was planned for this week, with open practice on Friday evening and racing on Saturday. Please make your plans to attend the Cabin Fever 40 with full racing in each division. I dont know about you but the only thing that will make me forget the cold and wet weather is some GREAT RACING at one of the FINEST RACING FACILITIES ANYWHERE. NOW LETS GO RACING!

This was a good decision on the part of the track to get the word out as soon as they did rather than waiting and then having to call it after some teams had already travelled to the track.

Gates open Saturday at 10am racing starts at 12pm.

Thanks Bird, this is my first trip to Boyd's. Another question if I may, do they have track side parking, and can u bring in a cooler, w/beer or do they sell beer there? Thanks again.

They do have trackside parking in Turn One with a Handicap Tag, but the view is not all that good. Yes to small coolers and they do not sell beer.

You're welcome.. There is a small area for trackside parking but not a good view. There is an area down by the fence where you can put folding chairs. If you are planning on doing that be sure to get there early. You can bring in a cooler, but no beer allowed. They don't even sell it and they will ask and check. There is a concession stand, the food is pretty good but you can bring your own in. There are quite a few places in either direction once you exit. Wendy's seems to be the most popular since it's closest to the track. Hope you have fun!
