26 seems like a low car count with 50+ at Screven and (?) at Wayx. How many were at Wayx?

Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

Only 20 were at Waycross and that was with 6 or so cars leaving Screven.

I find it odd that only 26 are racing at GI. I know some of the cars headed to East Bay to practice, but McCreadie is the only WoO veteran in the pits. Maybe it was because its an afternoon show.

Maybe we should take notes from that hotbed of late model racing.......Nebraska? Let's not let one deal condemn an entire state.

I was referencing Screven last night and now GI today.

Atleast our races dont start 2 hours late. Hell we get mad if they start 30min late.

Yeah, but most of you still think mods are entertaining........ I'm just messing with you anyway. Annoys me to no end when stuff drags on, and it happens too much in to many places.

Weekly Mod racing is pretty good in our part of the country, i will admit that. But I would drive 3 hours to a regional LM show over attending a weekly mod race. To me a 2 hour delay other than weather related is inexcusable.

Sometimes I wonder if promotors own a watch.

I'm a life-long hater, just can't make myself like them (mods). Although guys like Jason Hughes, Shryock, and others are very talented drivers. Some promoters get it, but some don't. You've basically got about a three hour window for most people before they start to lose interest. When racing is supposed to start at 7, it should start at 7.

The USMTS has sparked my interest, but to me its just a IMCA mod on steroids. I took a handheld watch to one of the races they had. They were within .5 seconds of the full blown Late Models that showed up 3 weeks later.

20 cars at waycross for $10k to win + 26 cars at golden isle = 0 Promoter
and big money losing deals with poor crowds in attendance

looks like those fellers mr. bird and mr. banks might need to learn how to spell the word promoter before they try to become one. it also smells like a lot of people knew who was really behind these events and decided not to become involved with their bull$h!+
    whodunnit?
