We have used one for 2 years now. It works really well. Easy to read with blue back lighting. It nounts easy by riviting a bracket to the dash and then place it in the mount with velcro. Easy to wire as well.

2 years, no problems. just a fresh battery every year. haven't tested it waterproof, we remove it for every wash. i think it comes with a grommet to pass the wires through the dash. i wired it with pins from a weather-pak plug (shrouded with heat shrink) because they are thin and can all 3 pass through the hole making it easily removable.

the only thing i don't like it is that it won't reset the taddle-tale automatically, you have to remember to do it manually. sometimes i think the tel-tac is worth the extra $100

    Cool

They work well. Are easy to see and ours has been "washed" several times. Just keep a spare battery in the trailer!
