half-ton spindles

anyone try chevy 95ish half ton chevy pick-up front spindles on camero clip? Took some work but got weight down to camero spindle. also can fit metric hub/rotor on with a little machine work,saves a ton of wt from truck hub/rotor.They are an inch taller than full size spindle for better roll centers and more king pin inclination than stock car spindles.Just wondering if anyone has run them and if it was worth the extra time it takes to get them to fit.
