didnt even know they had a udlmcs race this past weekend, how many cars total? alot of races at brp, are the back to back dates there are they 2 day shows or 3k each night?

There was only 11 cars, but the racing was pretty decent.

Them and the NLMS dont promote crap!
NLMS schedule hasnt even been posted yet, even tho tracks are listing dates.
How do you guys expect to get cars and fans and people like us to talk
about it if you arent doing squat

BINGO! The first 2 years I worked my A&& off posting info for the UDLMCS and doing the drivers pages. After I was "promoted" out of doing it the drivers pages went away and the info came to a stop. For a series that was started "for the drivers" and averaged more than 40 cars an event it sure has went to crap.

agree it started off strong the 1st year but went down hill ever sence.... wonder why that was. the nlms use to be strong but here to is going down the wrong way.... as of now they dont even have a schedule posted or can tell you when the 1st race will be held as of yet... i love the national late model series but it diffenitly needs to get their act together before it disappears.. last year only 4 drivers ran the entire series. hope this year is a come back year

I think this year your will find more drivers making most of the schedule, but it still makes no sense to not promote anything.
The NLMS at the track, does a descent job with stuff knowing its an NLMS event, the UDLMCS,
unless you know its one of their events, you cant even tell.
It wouldnt take much, promote on the internet, sites like this,there are plenty, and all free, maybe an add in the local sports page the friday before a race, at the track, banners, sell tshirts,
before the feature, line them up on the frontstretch, introduce the drivers to the fans,
all inexpensive ways to get people interested..............
We dont have any other series to follow so i guess they dont feel they have to do anything.
UDLMS did do one smart thing, the bulk of their schedule is 3 doubleheaders at Bubba Raceway Park
in Ocala. It will get promoted for those shows, no doubt about it.

I wish I could start my own series, I know so many people that are not so happy
with what we have available.

The MFDLM Series, seems we could get the money from Sunoco since
they really aint getting a bang for their buck !
Id be like highmaintenance getting the word out there online, facebook
and such.

you gotta spread the word so ppl know about it, but there is a stoping point somewhere, after while it just gets annoying, dont see why they need 1000000 threads, one thread and just keep bumping it up every now and then works just as well or ask to make it a sticky so it cant get moved down.
but on a serious note, i wonder how a new series in the ga,fl, area would work out....

It would be hard to start one from scratch, lots of start up, improving an existing
system would be much easier, but i would have to bet there would be alot of interest
as long as you were smart about the dates and locations.
These guys overlapping dates really hurts the fan base and the car counts.

One thing I am kicking around trying to do , is I base where I go on where most of the
late model drivers are going to be that week . That becomes a pain because you have to check
facebook, websites, friends of friends or some one on here or florida flagstand to figure out who
is going where.
What I would like to get going ,is having drivers, text ,email or via facebook to me every, say,
wednesday, and I would post that list of drivers and where they will be that weekend ,every thursday and friday
on 4m, florida flagstand and maybe facebook account as well ,each week for the year, one place
to look to see where evryone is headed, or at least some people you want to see run.

Neither the nlms or the udlmcs are doing very good these days . What i would like to see is RAY & KENNY work together maybe udlmcs in fl & nlms in ga . And not run on the same weekend & at the end of the season have a big GA FL SHOOT OUT at maybe at GOLDEN ILES . to run the shoot out you had to run 5 races with one of the series . JMO BUT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN !!!!!

Me and a buddy of mine tried to put something together back when Ray firsy went to the jig cars, we talked to alot of people, had afew tracks very interested until our first show and only 5 cars showed up. Then it was poof nobody was interested in us anymore
Will port and polish for cash
