    Lightbulb Nose Construction

    Why do the alum on the nose follow the contour of the lights? You are covering alot of the plastic of the nose up when doing this.

    They trim the plastic off. They do it to make the nose more "shovel" shaped to catch more air. Sometimes you can see creases in the aluminum to help create that shape.
    Crew Chief "Tip of the day":
    Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

    I cut 10 inches off the top of the nose then angle it back up to points on the ends.....
