Default Bushing Throttle Shaft on 5200 Holley Weber

How would I go about bushing the throttle shaft on my 5200 holley weber carb. Do I simply drill it out and press or drive some brass bushings in or does it need to go to a machine shop?

The way i would do it is to ream the bores out to some standard size then get bronze or brass bushing of that size but with a smaller ID then the throttle shafts. Press the bushing into the bores and then ream the bushings out with a reamer of the correct size of the throttle shaft.
i have worked on the Weber cars but never had to bush the throttle shafts, but that was years ago.

You can do it yourself if you have a drill press or know someone who does. You will also need to buy 2 reamers of the correct size. The cost of that will vary but can be purchased for less then $20 for the pair if you are lucky.

There may be kits to do this but again since I haven't work on a carb in years so I don't really know.
