Josh McGuire Racing Prepares for Spring 50 this Weekend at Florence Speedway

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) For the first time since pulling out of the pit area at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida back on February 18, the Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team will return to action this upcoming weekend in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The 36th Annual ‘Spring 50’ will take place this Saturday night, March 17 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The complete one-day show will be headlined by a $5,000 to win, 50-lap feature event. Josh McGuire chose to skip last year’s ‘Spring 50,’ but finished a strong runner-up in his last visit to Florence last October.

Following the trip to the Cincinnati area this weekend, the #41 team will start prepping for the annual running of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker,’ which will be held on Saturday, March 24 at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The one-day Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series extravaganza boasts a $10,000 top prize. A huge field of Dirt Late Model competitors is expected to converge on the 1/4-mile, semi-banked fairgrounds venue next weekend for the ‘Indiana Icebreaker.’
