Hey guys, this question deals with a modified but i know some late models run these pullbars too so i thought i would ask. I just put an 1050 bushing in, and im wondering how to set preload into these pullbars? The back nut is threaded, but only for a little ways then turns into the shaft. Im wondering if that nut should be tight and adjust preload through the brake bushing, or if you use that nut to set preload. A little confused. Anyone.?

yep i think you are correct....just tighten or loosen up the jam nut on the brake bushing to chg preload on the torque biscuits....the top jam nut on the main biscuits has to always stay tight or it will come apart
