Who Will Add Their Name To The Shamrock List Saturday Night At Cleveland Speedway

CLEVELAND, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will kick off the 30th Anniversary Tour of the longest running dirt series in the country with the 17th Annual Shamrock 50 at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN., paying $10,000 to win for the 50 lap event Saturday night April 7th.

The names that have won this event in the past 16 years is a who’s who among dirt fans and many of them will be in action to see if they can repeat and take home the big money or will some other driver step up and take the top prize and add his name to the winners list.

Billy Ogle Jr of Knoxville, TN., will be there along with David Payne of Murphy, NC. Tommy Kerr of Rockford, TN., Brian Reese of Sharpsburg, GA., Kayne Hickman of Cleveland, TN., Todd Morrow of Ringgold, GA., Skip Arp of Georgetown, TN., Chad Ogle of Knoxville, TN.

Drivers that have put their name on the Shamrock trophy over the past 16 events include Scott Bloomquist, Rex Richey, Billy Moyer, Dale McDowell, Ricky Holland, Dan Schliper, Duayne Hommell, Patrick Duggan, Chris Madden, Jonathan Davenport and last years winner Shane Clanton, some of these drivers are expected to in action Saturday night

The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series portion of the program will be qualifying, heats, B Mains and a 50 lap feature along with Steel Head/Limited/Crate feature and A & B Hobbys.

Pit gates will open at 2 pm with grandstands at 3 pm drivers meeting at 5:30 pm and hot laps at 6:30 pm.
