    Default Drive shaft?

Does anyone know where I can get a drive shaft shortened in the Ashland, Ky./Huntington, WV area? I need to take an inch off.

    Thanks for any help.

How long do you need it to be?

If you have the long yoke, just find a machine shop and have them put the yoke in a lathe and take an inch off.

The yoke is fine. I actually need the shaft itself shortened. I only have about a half inch of yoke sticking out of the tail shaft at ride height.

if this is for the mono leaf car you posted about earlier if it has a 9 inch rearend you might be able to get a shorter pinion yoke. just trimming an inch out of the drive shaft may cost more than just buying a used drive shaft that's the correct length. I charge $50 here in western il. to shorten a shaft.
