    Default Ford 7.5 rear end

Are there any gears available for the 7.5 between 3.45 and 3.73?

    Default Final ratio

If running second gear, don't forget the various 2nd gear ratios available ot adjust final up or down from the readily available R&P ratios....

Check ebay, you should be able to get the gear and pinion for less than $75 with shipping. There's also a place in Hiram, Ga. Can't remember the name but google "mustang parts Hiram, Ga" and you should find them.

Not entirely true on having to go aftermarket to get a 3:73 rear gear. The Thunderbird Turbo Coupe pre 88 had the 7.5 rear with 3:73 gears stock.

I got a set of 3.73 off ebay for 52 bucks shipped. Not sure what they were out of. It took about two weeks of waiting for some to come up. Good deals can be had if you have time to wait. Never any time in the middle of racing season though.

Looks as it will be cheaper to get a 8.8. That way, I can use a 3.55. Found one at the junkyard for $100.00.
