Richmond Raceway Slings the Clay Again on May 12; Special Mother’s Day Program on Tap!

RICHMOND, KY (May 8, 2012)-After a very exciting season open, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are ready to do it all again with a full program of racing action this Saturday, May 12.

The Coyote 100.7 FM Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Road Hogs, and Four Cylinders will all be in action this Saturday. In addition, several giveaways are planned for the mother’s in the audience in honor of the Mother’s Day weekend. One grand prize winner will receive a 2012 Grandstand Admission Season Pass valid for the remainder of the 2012 season.

The pit area opens at 4:30 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:00 p.m. with hot laps slated for 6:45 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $3 for kids ages 6 through 12. Pit Admission is $30 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 through 12. Kids ages 5 and under are admitted FREE to Richmond Raceway.

Richmond Raceway last raced on Saturday, May 5. Feature event winners that night included Scott Lemaster in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. in the Road Hogs, and George Brooks in the Four Cylinders.

Current track championship point leaders heading into the weekend’s Mother’s and Others event include Scott Lemaster in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. in the Road Hogs, and George Brooks in the Four Cylinders.
