Cool Chris stotts in swartz race cars

Chris stotts dominated in his carthage auto parts / swartz / roush yates
race engines at skyline speedway friday night. No one even close.
Then on to florence ky speedway . Where he was very close to winning there.
Took second to very fast matt hamilton. Good race to . After they got
past more than 10 cautions , and billy vaughn out of the way. The only questions
were passing points. If you pass 4 cars and everyone else passes only 2 or 3
how do they start in front of you . Must be a inside deal. But good job
thats a very very fast swartz race car.

Here's the "inside deal" on passing points: http://www.florencespeedway.com/passingpoints.html

Chris started 5th in his heat and finished 2nd. Thats 3 cars passed not 4. Everyone who started in front of him in the feature won or finished 2nd in their heat in addition to passing cars. It's not all about how many cars you pass

    Heres the actual breakdown:
    POS CAR# DRIVER PP Totals
    1 112 BILLY VAUGHAN 64.280
    2 X ERIC SHEPHERD 62.520
    3 9h MATT HAMILTON 62.040
    4 23 KYLE SCHORNICK 60.280
    5 s8 CHRIS STOTTS 60.280
    6 1* RYAN MORTON 59.000

Kyle got the tiebreaker cause he was in the 2nd heat and Chris was in the 3rd.

    Default passing points

This is 10X better than a stupid draw, and the next best thing to qualifying.
Wish all tracks that do not qualify, would go to the passing point system.
Florence is definately doing it right with this system!
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Yes $2.00 is better than $1.00 dollar . But race tracks dont want to or bother
with opening sooner to qualify . Which kills the hard work someone does
to gain the edge for position . So ok passing points are better still have to
draw a pill. Real racing is to qualify for position / not be placed .

100% agree. but due to time constraints, and extra wear on track. not many places qualify.

I would love to see tracks go to transponders and qualify during hotlaps.
Eldora and lawrenceburg both have them, but do not qualify during hotlaps.
Just use them to score, and laptimes, which is great. But let us qualify, and draw a invert pill 1234.

Billy was probably in the way as always.
Show the guy a nose, and he falls apart.

Well you may not get ran over if u are not in the way. Billy was if
u were there was holding up the fastest cars . As matt drove by
him chris was beside him in the corner . As billy over drove the corner
chris pulled beside him . Billy holding tight as he could turned down
on chris. Tight racing . Faster cars pulled away. See ya.

I do not have a dog in this fight, because I was not there, but billy is NO angel, he has run through people, and I have seen it with my own eyes.
I dont really have to worry about it, cause he cannot catch me.
