Richmond Raceway prepares for Four Cylinder Fury paying $300 to win May 19!

RICHMOND, KY (May 15, 2012)-Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett present the Inaugural Four Cylinder Fury this Saturday, May 19 paying $300 to win the Four Cylinder Division.

Joining the Four Cylinders on May 19 are the Coyote 100.7 FM Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, and Road Hogs all with a full program of racing on tap.

The special Mother’s Day program that was scheduled to take place one week ago will take place this weekend. All the giveaways including the 2012 grandstand season pass will go on Saturday night, May 19.

The pit area opens at 4:30 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:00 p.m. with hot laps slated for 6:45 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $3 for kids ages 6 through 12. Pit Admission is $30 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 through 12. Kids ages 5 and under are admitted FREE to Richmond Raceway.

Richmond Raceway last raced on Saturday, May 5. Feature event winners that night included Scott Lemaster in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. in the Road Hogs, and George Brooks in the Four Cylinders.

Current track championship point leaders heading into the weekend’s Mother’s and Others event include Scott Lemaster in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. in the Road Hogs, and George Brooks in the Four Cylinders.
