Conley’s Rack Up Trio of Top Five Finishes at Southern Ohio and Florence

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Brothers Rod and R.J. Conley returned to Dirt Late Model competition over the May 11-12 weekend and the two drivers piled up a trio of Top Five performances. On Friday night at the nearby Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio, Rod ran second in the dash prior to notching a strong runner-up performance in the $2,000 to win main event behind only winner Eddie Carrier, Jr. R.J. was not far behind, as he finished fifth in the dash before claiming a third place effort in the A-Main.

"Hot Rod" then traveled alone to the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening for another $2,000 to win battle. Rod placed fifth in his loaded heat race and later posted another fifth place finish in the 35-lap feature event behind only winner Scott James, Kent Robinson, Joe Janowski, and Mike Jewell. The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams will be out in full force over the upcoming May 18-19 weekend in the Buckeye State of Ohio. Delmas and R.J. both plan to enter a pair of $2,000 to win programs at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg on Friday and the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth on Saturday. Rod, on the other hand, will tackle a $3,000 to win ADRA show at the Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg on Friday night before joining his dad and brother on Saturday at PRP.
