    Default breaking transmissions and driveshafts

    Hey guys,

My friend has a 3 link Inca sportmod and so far he has gone through three transmissions and one riveshaft. Pinion angle is good. Driveline is straight. Anyone have any ideas to look at? We're stumped

Plenty of travel. Doesn't bottom out at all. The transmission is breaking on the bolt ears by the bellhousing

Are you running a transmission mount?
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

I would have to agree with the trans mount if your not running one. If this is a saginaw you'll break the ears all day long without one.

with a sport mod 3 link with a solid pull bar you should be getting enough axle wrap to put the drive line in a bind but I would jack the rear of the car up high enough to to get both tires off the ground (jack it up from under the seat area only) and check every moving part to see if it's binding. we never ran a rear trany mount with a steel bellhousing and never broke a trany case or a drive shaft. does this car us a middle or the old side mounts?
