Does the 2.3 trans bolt to an early 2.0?

If not..What modifications need to be made. Im stuck between gear sets and that little boost to a 2.14 would be perfect..Thanks guys...

Yes a trans that bolts to a 2.3 Ford will also work on the 2.0 Pinto engine.

Some will and some won't, be carefull some have longer input shafts on the transmissions and bellhousings bolt patterns on the top two bolts.
