Gator 50 highlights:
McGuire fast qualifier
Boggs sounded like he was down a cylinder in qualifying but still made top 6/dash
Boggs won dash, had issue fixed

about 25 LM qualified
about 30 mods
about 20 limited lates

bad flip in mod heat, had to fly the guy out in helicopter

Delmas broke in his heat and never returned

lots of nice racing in the heat races for LM, mods and limiteds.

lm feature = Boggs, McGuire, Carrier, Adkins

Track prep I give an "A",track held together very nice, hole in 2 and 3 never appeared till about lap 30 of feature. Almost no dust and it was 95 and sunny all day. Plenty of racing although Boggs led whole race, McGuire had a few shots on restarts. Carrier never really passed anyone, most of the cars ahead of him broke, RJ and Bocooks, most with tire issues. Wasn't a real good night overall for Carrier.

Just for the record, a few people commented that Boggs automatically will get the $2500 to start money in DTWC because he won the provisional, but that's not really the case. If they do it like in past, if you use a provisional to get into the race they automatically subtract the start money from your winnings.

The place was packed with fans, frontstretch, few on the backstretch. They need more seating for DTWC. The spacing and layout of the metal bleachers on frontstretch is not very good, too tight, when it's packed and you are in the middle of the row, you are stuck. Just a few issues they need to adress before DTWC.
