Metric steering
Metric cars don't have much clearance between the crossmember and the inner tierod ends.My Question is has anyone ever tried using a shorter idler and pittman arm for extra clearance also the tierods are not 90degrees to the frame or point forward.The standard metric are 6 1/2" center to center where as the 73 to 77 chevelle is 5 1/2"I am aware this will most likely change bump and ackerman.Any imput will be appreciated thaks in advance.
