    Default Cam, Heads, intake?

    Run on a 1/4-3/8 tracks, semi tight turns, tracks are usually wet to tacky, occasional slick up. What would be the best motor set up, internal and external, including headers for these motor rules. what type of cam, heads(valve size as well), intake/spacer, and carb. 2800-3000lbs, metric frame truck,all stock arms, 9'' rears allowed, 16 gallon fuel cell must be mounted above rear end.

    Ford and Chevy engines-360 cu in max, Dodge-370 max. 9.5 to 1 compression max.1% tolerance. Must use OEM production block all external specs Must be maintained. Any header with any muffler, must run mufflers or track approved baffle.
    Flat top or dished pistons only. No part of piston may protrude above the deck surface.
    No titanium engine parts allowed. in fact no titanium anywhere on truck .
    Any Roller rocker arm permitted.
    Flat tappet cams only, hydraulic or solid lifters. Max lift .540” intake and .560” exhaust. Measured at zero lash on valve retainer. Lifter must be able to be removed from the top of lifter bore
    Chevy and Dodge must use OEM head castings. Ford may use World Products casting also.
    Cold air box is allowed must pick up air at the base of the windshield no forward facing scoops or ram air allowed.
    Must run a single 2 or 4 barrel carburetor. No predator or other exotic carburetors
    The base of carb. will be no more than 7” above top of block measured with a straight edge across spacer down to top of block at rear of manifold.
    Gasoline only; no additives. No nitrous oxide or other oxygenating substances allowed .with 16 gallon fuel cell in a steel box, mounted behind rear axle. With two-2” or equivalent straps encompassing the entire cell. Bottom of fuel cell must be level with the top of rear frame horns.
    Mechanical block mounted fuel pumps required.
    Radiator must be in front of engine. Radiator overflow canister with a 2 quart minimum required.
    Battery may be located anywhere behind driver, within the frame and in a professional battery mount.
    No traction control devices, electronic or otherwise.
    Any Distributor type ignition allowed no crank trigger or magnetos allowed, no timing retard control allowed. All Trucks will be required to use a rev limiter with a 7,000 rpm chip. Chip must be out of reach of driver. uses msd soft touch rev limiter
