Ponderosa Speedway Featured on Animal Planet’s “Call of the Wildman” Sunday June 17

Junction City, KY- June 11, 2012- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Larry Yantz and co-promoters Chad and Sarah Yantz are pleased to announce that the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” will be featured on a television program on Sunday June 17.

Ponderosa Speedway will be featured on the Animal Planet channel’s popular program “Call of the Wildman” which features Kentucky’s number one hunter of wild animals, Ernie Brown, better known worldwide as “The Turtleman”. The episode will air this Sunday evening on the Animal Planet channel at 10:00 p.m. EDT. Animal Planet is available through most cable and satellite network providers.

“The Turtleman” was called in to help Ponderosa Speedway get rid of some “critter” problems that the track had encountered, so it was “Turtleman” to the rescue. To see how it all turns out, viewers will have to tune in to Animal Planet on Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT and watch the program “Call of the Wildman”.

Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Larry Yantz is the track promoter and will present dirt track sports entertainment on Friday and selected Saturday evenings from April through October of the 2012 race season.
