    Default Northern Sportmod LR Spring

When the car gets all the way up on the bars there is no weight on the LR spring. I know I'm not the only car that does this because Harris, Jet Racing, and others sell a long spring cup so you dont loose the spring. My question is how is this effecting the car by not having any weight on it?

The long and short of it is... it's not. LR spring on 4-bar primarly effects off throttle (entry/mid corner). once you pick up the throttle, all your drive and weight transfer comes from the bars, so LR spring has little to no effect, unless you can index enough to keep it loaded.

Its called mechanical traction. Traction is caused by the LR tire trying to drive under the car and forcing bars to get more upward angle.
