Cleveland, TN (6/16/12) --- Saturday nights theme "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" (the 1979 hit from artist Pat Benetar) was tuned up, as Don King Promotions seemingly took over the races at Cleveland Speedway with the LLM/Crate Mid Season Championship on the line. The HUSTLER Riley Hickman (#R1) of Ooltewah, TN stayed out in front and kept WW3 behind him winning his second visit to A-1 Towing Victory Lane pocketing $1,500 for his efforts. Cleveland's Jarrett Choatte was the races Fast Qualifier earning the $100 bonus from The Flooring Center. Winning their B-Mains and the bonus $100's from Arp's Lawn Service & Harrison Transmissions (OHMS Racing) were visitor Jeff Smith of Villanow, GA and local favorite Brian Pritchard in his Big Red Machine. Smith would advance from his 9th starting position to finish with a solid Top-5, but Pritchard and Jimmy Elliott would tangle and settle some unfinished business with a battle royal in the pits. Unfortunately that wouldn't be the end of the Vince McMahan Era, as second place finisher Jason Welshan and third place finisher Lil' John Ownbey had a skirmish too once the checkered flag flew. All in all, dads were treated to some extra bouts for their Pre-Father's Day festivities. Next Saturday night the U.S.C.S Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars invade Cleveland for the first time in 12 years. Also on tap will be the B-Hobby $500 Mid Season Championship race. LLM/Crate's will be back in action on the 30th for the Pony Mid Season showdown
