Default penske 8100 series adjustable shocks.

I was given a set of penske 8100 shocks from a asphalt racer friend of mine. he has a kit of all the shims and pistons we might need. I have a 2001 grt late model and would like to use these shocks but neither of us know what we need in these shocks to make them work on the dirt. and what nitrogen pressures to use? pistons to use? a+ B+? its all forign to us. just need a baseline. no one in my area works on penske shocks or has a dyno. these are compression adjustable on the front and double adjustable on the rear. thanks any info is apreciated

make sure the shocks will fit on your car.... Penske makes different heads for there shocks and some dont allow enough clearence. The center line of the top shock mount is about 5/8 in. from the top of the shock head. So if you havent already bolted them up and made your everything clears do so before you go any further.
