    Dumb question time.
Can you use roller followers on a non- roller cam?

Eric....... I do not agree. But one must watch what they're doing if a roller-follower is used on a flat-follower cam. TR32....... If you have David Vizard's book, 'How To Modify Ford SOHC Engines'(ISBN 0 86343 0856), go to page 55 under 'Roller Followers'. Vizard spells out very well what to expect if a roller-follower is used on a flat-follower cam. -Dave-

They dont recommend that you run roller rockers with cast cams because of the difference in rockwell hardness between the heat treated and ground roller and the cast cams. in my opinion if you really want to run roller followers run a roller cam.
