    Default ford teams and money

just noticed none of the ford teams have solid backing. they have great factory support top the charts in hp most every season and roush has a long history in racing.

That is an odd deal. Hard to figure out. And the Fords run great too. Jack can afford to field all the cars out of his own organizations if he wished to, Penske has been doing it for years.

I think as we come out of these bad economic times Ford teams will have no trouble finding sponsors. All the hoopla has been around Dale Jr and the Hendrick bunch. JGR has also been in the headlines quite a bit. Those teams get more coverage than the Ford teams simply because nothing big is happening over there.

I hate to say it, but these "economic times" aren't going to change anytime soon with an idiot supreme court like we have.

Duane, Gotta say you are right on with that. Didn't see them upholding the mandate. I may have to change my opinion on my previous statement. I am still trying to read all of the decision and weigh all of the issues. I do have to say I am not surprised at how many are taking this lightly. They act like this is completely free.

Sorry we derailed your thread racing6mod. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for these Ford Teams. Especially since Kenseth is leaving Rousch. Not certain he is leaving Ford yet, but they need to keep as many of these good drivers as possible. I like the idea that Stenhouse is getting a shot at the 17 car and I hope Ford is able to hold on to Bayne, but both those guys have a lot to learn before they will be a good replacement for Kenseth.

Are we truly celebrating Independence Day next week. Got to believe that a lot of people are pretty gullable or just kidding themselves. Paul Revere would be back on his horse if he were still here.

IMO, the only reason that they hang tough in NASCAR has been that Roush-Yates partnership. It's been crucial in keeping Fords competitive.
I know ford didn't take a bailout from the us gov. but they have been taking money from other gov. like russia, poland and india. all three have built ford factories while here in the us ford was selling off all but one factory and just about everything thing else once that money was spent they found them selves with nothing to loan against. they now rent most of the factory space here in the usa.that's ther bussiness plan I don't understand it but we'll just have to see how it turns out in a few years.

Duane we can talk racing all you want. I'm not a big ford fan but roush has some of the best driver in the bussiness. they are just not the big hipe type but they do deliever wins and championships.

http://dcdoyourjob.com/ you got me confused with someone that gives a rats azz : "You can't be for big government, big taxes, and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy."I have one major problem with the internet: It's full of liars. There doesn't seem to be any way to answer to people lying about you.

There are a lot of us former "Chevy" die hards who are now Ford People. We felt as though we have no choice.

I have a Buick, a Kia van, a Dodge pickup and a Toyota Tercel . I won't buy another GM product even though some of the Chevies are the best looking. My next car to replace my Buick family car will be a Ford.

    Duane

And your right 6mod, great line up of drivers in Roush, for a long time too.

What other possibilities exist in Michigan other than renting? If you own it you'll get pummeled with property taxes. Michigan has a lot of issues to work out before the business climate will be favorable.
