finally some economy good news...unemployment has dropped in 17 states.
In 2010, influenced by the Tea Party and its focus on fiscal issues, 17 states elected Republican governors. And, according to an Examiner.com analysis, every one of those states saw a drop in their unemployment rates since January of 2011. Furthermore, the average drop in the unemployment rate in these states was 1.35%, compared to the national decline of .9%, which means, according to the analysis, that the job market in these Republican states is improving 50% faster than the national rate

The other 34 states are more than making up for the gains though. Time for them to gain positive leadership.
-
Was it and unemployment decrease based on people finding new jobs or was it actually a decrease due to people exhausting their unemployment benefits no longer counted as "unemployed"???
We have a Republican governor and they only thing he's done is try his best cover up the Sandusky child sexual abuse fiasco trying to save Penn State and give the good old boys club in Harrisburg a pay and benefit raise while more people are losing their health care and or jobs.

I keep better and more aqurate records than the government. Oh, that don't mean anything.

LOL Libs hate the truth, don't they.

Bottom line is these articles can be painted as you see fit by the reader. But to say that it is invalid, you have not proven it to be. Take New York and Michigan, check out the number of people that have left the state.

Yes, the liberals "TRY" to defend their position on here! Unfortunatley their position is warped by clouded perceptions!!

They get the rate by not including anyone who is not looking for a job also. Many have stopped looking because this administration is giving them money not to literally.
The true jobless rate is at least 15%.
-
I'm betting that 15% number is on a good day. When you run straight up numbers with out all the riff raff, its really ugly. I'd venture a guess we were at one time as high as 21% real numbers. Black youth unemployment was touted at being in the 40 percentile area, find out how they figured it and you'll have our real rate.

Many who have been drawing unemployment have gotten disability as it is being made fairly easy to get with an attorney these days. They are actually advertising food stamps and people are being lured into socialism with too many entitlements enticing them.
-
...and that's how Obama is going to be re-elected.
-
we can hope that most of his supporters think he has it locked up and don't show for thye election....

Your not as far off as you'd think. His issues are with the Black community, although he'll still get the lions share of votes, many just won't show up. The won't vote for Romney, but they won't vote for obummer either. And thats just fine with me.
