WAR was declared in the cage Sunday night as the wingless sprint warriors came to the 1/5 mile high banks in Atchison Ks.

Chad Tye with a 305 cube inch motor in his hot rod showed power was not what you needed to win the WAR sprint race on the drying track. Again the track with the short straightaways and high banking all the way around let the driver with the best setup and better driving skills master her for the win.

The a-mods were on the program also, even with the smaller tires they showed they could race this track with plenty of competition throughout the field. When the dust cleared P. J. Conger was at the front of the pack with the win, patience, timing, and the right setup won the day for the St. Joe driver in a new Venum chassis.

A great cool evening at the track, Chris Morgan a WAR driver injured in a racing accident 3 weeks ago was at the track looking pretty good for the time he has had to deal with the injures he sustained in the wreck. hang in their Chris and we look forward to your return. Enjoy.
