Thread: Left Rear Bite

    Default Left Rear Bite

Having troubles getting the car to turn. I was looking at setup sheet and it says to add LR bite. So....I made some turns at the track before the feature but it didnt seem to help at all. Possibly worse. When adding bite to help loosin the car on entry is that off the throttle or on? The car is a IMCA Northern Sportmod.

With the IMCA sportmod 3 links really you just added wedge which will tighten the car. A softer RF spring will help, trailing the RR, adding RR bar angle, stiffer RR spring, raising the rearend side of the panhard bar will all free you up.

I think my panhard bar is to low. I was thinking about raising the whole bar up 1/2" or more.

If it's below pinion center, raising it up one hole with make a world of difference.
