Mike Marlar passes Chris Madden in lapped traffic on lap 17 and leads the remainder of the distance for his first career Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals triumph. Full results to be posted as soon as I get them in my hand...

Had Billy Ogle Jr. not had to go to the back for the Ty Dillon spin, that might have been a different race. He came from 20th or 21st to 4th in 32 laps.

    Default Well Done !

Made the drive to SMR on Tuesday night hoping that the "Late Model Only" show would be worth the trip on a work night. The show moved along quickly and professionally, Crates, LLm, SLM's. Was well worth it for me. Well done !!! 1-1/4 hr. drive each way, still home close to midnight. The track was in great shape, I become more impressed everytime I visit there. The place was Lightning Fast and a good crowd too. Thank you Shaeffer Oil, Ray Cook and Smokey Mnt. Raceway for a very good night Dirt Late Model Racing.
