Wild week in CMC produces 5 winners.

The U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford had wall to wall action this week. The Ump summernationals rolled through town and was at Florence Speedway on Tuesday Night. Nascar star Kenny Wallace would add his name to the CMC winner list in his very first visit.
Bryan Barber and Billy Vaughn would follow Wallace at the finish. Wallace became the 3rd CMC winner to win in an Impressive Race Car joining all time win leader Gilpin and fellow Nascar star Ken Schrader.

Kenny Wallace and the tour would head out to Brushcreek Motorsports Complex on Wednesday Night. Wallace would find that the CMC crowd was not going to allow him to win his 2nd race in as many nights as he would come home 3rd behind Devin Gilpin and Jeremy Rayburn. Gilpin your CMC and Ump national point leader would break his own record with 12 CMC wins this season. Gilpin won 11 on his way to the the very first CMC championship in 2010. The win was Gilpin's 25th CMC career win.

The Modifieds would charge into Moler Raceway Park on Friday Night. Joe Godsey would wind up with his first CMC win of his career and the first CMC win for his very own chassis, Outlaw chassis. Jimmy Lennox would follow close behind in 2nd with Dustin Webber all over him in 3rd.

Brushcreek would lose to the rain on Saturday but luckily everyone had the option of Florence Speedway.
All the rain did to Florence Speedway was make the racing surface very fast. Matt Hamilton would use that surface to best the field. Ray Branscum would take 2nd with Ted Nobbe 3rd. Hamilton the 2011 CMC champion would make this win his 6th of the season and 22nd CMC career win. Hamilton's win would also be the 35th win for Diamond Chassis in the lifetime of the CMC. This number is the most by any chassis manufacturer in the CMC.

The CMC headed to Lawrenceburg Speedway on Sunday as they were part of the USAC Indiana sprint week stop. After winning 10 races last season and finishing 3 points shy of the CMC championship, John 'Weasel" Rhoades would pick up his first win of the season. Rhoades would be followed by Matt Hamilton and John Demoss. It would be Weasel's 12th career CMC win which places him 4th on the all time win list. The win would also mark the very first CMC win for Coyote Race Cars. The Coyote's have been very close all season and it was just a matter of time before builder Dustin Webber or one of his drivers put a car in victory lane.

This week the action continues at Moler Raceway Park on Friday and Florence Speedway on Saturday.
