what drivers r at richmond

Last visit to Richmond was 2 yrs ago for the Butterball race and I promised myself that I would never go back but I have been hearing that this Tackett guy has worked his butt off getting this place back to the way it used to be so thought I would give it another shot. I was very pleased with the racing as they were racing side by side. Track was better than I had ever seen it with the exception of being dusty but that's what you get when you have to start before the sun goes down. I agree that next year leave out the Sportsmen class and just run Late Models and Mods. Took forever to qualify the Mods but all in all very pleased with the show except for getting out of there at 2:45 am but well please with everything else. Hope the Tackett's keep up the good work cause last night was like the old Richmond back in the day...

this was my first visit to richmond and here are my observations. the car count was great in the lates and mods, and the sportsman class should not be ran during the butterball, makes the night far too long. they should have never qualified the mods, pill draw and race. the heat races did not have much racing, very little passing. but, the late model feature made up for all of that. it was a very exciting race to witness with side by side racing throughout the entire race. dust was not bad at all all night. facility and food was fine. all in all, we had a good time and will be back for the 2013 race. also, can you guys please build a new flagstand made of steel tubing so the fans can see the track in turns 3 and 4?? the existing one is build out of wood and is HUGE! this would make the experience so much better for the fans.
