Default Jmo but fc should just close for the year and regroup for nxt year

I am not bashing fc and sure as hell aint saying that i dnt like the place but was told friday night they 1000 people there and that was the best crowd since illini 100. It's jmo and mine alone that fc should just say hey lets regroup and come back next year. It would give them more time to get a handle on this ump bs deal. I know someone is gonna construe this thread as to bashing or try to single me out to be a hater and that's the last thing i am. There is no more bigger races left this year and with low car counts why not? Anyway either way i wish jeff and everyone involved the very best with whats left of 2012 season.

Why terminate something that seems to be working? 1000 in the stands is a pretty nice crowd these days. Why can't you deal with u.m.p. and race at the same time? I know this was a special occasion this past week, but even half a crowd of that amount could be profitable if it was run right.

If they or any track isn't making $$$ then you'll see the shutdown. Until then, I'm sure they aren't worried about it, and will keep racing...

I think Brushcreek would give there left kahuna to have 1000 in the stands. That's not that bad for this economy. I'm sure their are a lot of tracks that are not drawing 1000 for a weekly show. It's a shame. Cheap entertainment.

They put on a great show, the track was good, quality drivers and had everybody out in good time Friday night.

I wish them the best and hope people get out and support them.

No way....I think they are doing just fine and should continue to run as much as possible and are trying to be considerate of everyone now that runs. The pride 50 had an awesome turn out and hope they made money. Would have like to see some more late models there but oh well. Track was in great shape...features were racey..hope they can get one more big race done before the end of the yr. Be awesome to have a Lucas race.

I wasnt talking aabout the pride 50 i agree b-12 would have been nice to see more lates but peoria on sat night only had 20 so i guess that's that. All i am saying is regroup for next year. It's jmo and mine alone that the rest of the year unless there is a big late model race there that fan base and car counts are gonna be low. I hope nobody takes this as bashing cause if u do ur an idiot. Next week there running mods, sportsmen, street stocks and hornets how many cars and fans do u think will show? If it wasnt for over an hr drive plus other comminments i wud be there. Anyway i wish them best of luck in all they do and hope to continue to see racing there in years to come. Btw b-12 i said something about lucas oil before the problem is not enough seating and so on is what i was told.

Not trying to be a jerk, but do you honestly think that Lucas would come into FC with a court case over nonpayment with WoO looming overhead?

Speaking of that, does anyone know anything about the case and if it has actually been filed?

Is this gonna drag out for years?

From what I've heard it is in the lawyers hands as of now and hard telling how long it will take. Hopefully something will be figured out soon but doubtful.

I think they tried getting a date with Lucas but week days were the only thing available and didn't think they would have a good turn out. Car counts are down most places. Guess it just hasn't rebounded from the bad economy yet. I hope to see lm car counts up around here now that sn is done with, but sounds like a quite a few of them are joining the tours (Lucas/woo). Guess we'll see. Looking forward to the world or nhra in Indy.

    No chance of that happening.

As far as car counts increasing now that the SN are over I don't see it happening. Traditionally this is about the time of the year when car counts and attendance drop off. With the economy still in the toilet plus the other issues FCR is dealing with I wouldn't be surprised if things get worse before they get better.

My comments weren't just for fc but for all tracks in the area to have better car counts.

And y is that. Hoping for the best for all the local tracks and fc. Something better than the boring regular Fri and sat night shows. What is wrong with that. Do you have a better idea or solution.

Many tracks have lower car counts and attendance starting in early August. FC is already struggling with low car counts and poor attendance. It's going to be an especially tough final two months of the season for them.

Wow have you talked to Jeff? As far as I know there hasnt been a court case nor has one been started. I think we all should let the responsible people handle legal matters if there are any. Its in the best interest for both parties to settle and move on.
