    Default Winters pinion gear help

I have a warrior race car with a winters rear end in it and I don't know what pinion gear it has in it. I am told that there is a way to figure this out without taking the rear end apart. Any help figuring this out would be appreciated. I was told that it most likely has a 4:86 in it but I just want to be sure.

take out the inspection plug on the side cover and count the teath on the ring and pinion. If you have a gear chart it will tell you the tooth count for each ratio.

Take the rear cover off. Turn the hub/axle exactly four times and count how many times the pinion (top shaft) spins. If it spins 16 and a half, you have a 4.12. If it spins 18 and a quarter times you have a 4.57. If it spins 19 and a half times, you have a 4.86.
