Full Details & Payout Information for FASTRAK Pro Late Model Nationals at Wythe

(Four Oaks,NC) Labor Day weekend is considered by all as the last hoorah of the Summer. A time to go to the crystal coast beaches and enjoy the warm weather before Autum closes in. However for the Teams, Drivers and Fans of "The Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" they will be flocking to the 1/2mile dirt facility Wythe Raceway owned by Fred & Susan Brown located off of I-81 in Rural Retreat,VA on Labor Day weekend for the 8th Edition of the FASTRAK Pro Late Model Nationals which in 2012 is gonna be the BIGGEST event yet since it's existence and an awesome payout to match the excitement of whats to come in Rural Retreat,VA for Labor Day weekend and close out the FASTRAK Racing Series final visit at Wythe Raceway for 2012.

With a $7,500 to WIN and a guaranteed minimum of $750 to START this event is sure to draw some BIG names to be there for the $7,500 to WIN payday. The season for the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division has been a very exciting "on the edge" of your seat year with so many surprises and firsts along the way. Lee Cooper from Woodruff,SC in the #57 Barry Wright leads the way going into this Historic racing event at Wythe Raceway and people are actually calling him "Mr. Consistency" since he's not won a race in 2012 but leads the Touring Points for the overall Season Title.

The Format for the 2012 FASTRAK Pro Late Model Nationals at Wythe Raceway will kick off on Friday night August 31st with Open Practice on the 1/2 mile dirt facility.

On Saturday September 1st there will be Hot Laps followed by "VP Race for the Pole Qualifying" and then the Heat Races (no-one is locked in from qualifying they will have to run heat race.) DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE AFTER-RACE PIT PARTY SATURDAY NIGHT WITH ALL THE FASTRAK DRIVERS, TEAMS & OFFICIALS!!

On Sunday September 2nd the event will get under way with 2 B-Mains (consi races) which basically is the FINAL last chance to make it in to the BIG SHOW.

Once the 24 car field is set and Special Driver Introductions are complete the A-Main Feature race will consist of 80 laps Total Distance with the always exciting Double File Starts/Restarts. On Lap 40 when the field has cycled around for halfway the caution will be given to the field and the FASTRAK machines will then make they're Pit Stops on the front straight in front of the fans. Stan Lester will be calling out what the teams are doing to the cars, what adjustments they are making, shocks, air pressure, wedge, etc.

DRIVERS & TEAMS CAN DO ANYTHING THEY WANT TO THE CARS DURING THE PIT STOP BUT IF THEY CHANGE TIRE(S) THEY HAVE TO GO TO REAR OF LEAD LAP FOR THE RESTART!!

The purse for the 8th Annual 2012 FASTRAK Pro Late Model Nationals is the most impressive payout in the History of this event at Wythe Raceway or any other FASTRAK Touring event with the exception of the FASTRAK World Championships... BOTTOM LINE IT'S A WIN WIN FOR EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN THE EVENT!!
