    Default i77 raceway joke

i just wanted to say on behalf of the racers thanks for the 15 gallons of race fuel burnt and 2000 pounds of mud stuck to the car and that was just doing the 30 laps of hotlaps and parade laps at 9:30 tonight what a waste of an otherwise nice track have a feeling the hillbilly wont be there more than once if they do this crap during the hillbilly 100 its bad when u have to use your whole nights supply of fuel just to run track in which looked like a swamp but the best part of the night was when we loaded up and pulled out after hotlaps

Well that is too bad. The racing after you left was pretty darned good. Probably best that you did leave so we did not have anymore cautions by folks that cant drive anyway.

Let me see. In the past 3 months, there has been about 20 or so tracks have surfaces that were TOO WET for some and TOO dry and rubbered up for others.

Where did you race on Friday? How was it there?

If 15 gallons of fuel is going to take food off the family table, then I suggest you find another hobby, cause obviously this one is too expensive.

While I'll agree that the plan of attack the track management took last night was a little flawed. I showed up at 6:15 and said WOW......going to be difficult to get that ready to race by dark. They had a learning experience. They wanted to eliminate the dust and they accomplished the feat with bells and whistles. I don't think grip was a huge problem last night.I applaud the effort of track management. As a fan I understand that mistakes will be made once in a while in the pursuit of success.Keep up the good work I77. What a race last night!!! Hammer down Lucifer!!!!!!!!!

15 gallons of race fuel would equal 135 bucks ofr the cheap Sunoco chit that I run, VP is 12 bucks a gallon, you do the math. Call this guy whatever YOU want then go back to wondering why there's so few cars at the race track to race for YOU for next to nothing oh and complain that 15 bucks is too high for a ticket to a "regular" super Late Model race. I don't mind helping run the track in especially after a rain close to show time or whatever but a lot of guys really ARE budgeted to the last nickel and 140 bucks worth of race fuel DOES make a difference.

the race fuel we run is 114 octane it is not cheap cam 2 crap plus not to mention track registeration (first time there this year(and last)) amra fees (we run prp is unsanctioned) plus 2 pit passes just to just to burn the whole nights fuel supply in hotlaps

it was my first time to visit I-77. i got there and looked at the track at 6:15 and thought, "this is going to suck"

i know things may not always go as planned, but this was stupid. the track had like 2 trucks on the track sometimes. the bottom 1/3 was a swamp. at around 9:00 and a 1000 laps later they decide to bring out the grader and push the slop away. that should of happened about 2 hours earlier. i don't blame 414banger for complaining. around 9:45 or so they started qualifying and then heat races. the only good race i saw was the late model feature. that was fun. up until then, all the heats were done after the first lap. nice place. maybe it was just an off night. hope the hillbilly is a good time for everyone.

I get tired of the complaining about things that happen at EVERY race track. IT happens, move on, if you dont like what is going on, the gate does not close and not let anyone out. You are free to leave and MOST promoters will refund your money. There were MANY race cars that did not help pack the track, the OP could have been one of those, but they CHOSE to help, and therefore forfeit any right to complain about the cost of fuel. Which 114 octane should be around $12 a gallon depending on where you get it.

Sounds like they need some more rolling equipment. Kudos to the track prep for their efforts. Fans need to start showing more support for tracks that are willing to prep a track and less to those that do not!

I race there and am proud to , yes it was an inconvenience and a hassle considering all the clean up invOlved with i77 mud , maybe a little preperation before hand might help ??? Don't know not a track prep or owner I'm a driver , and I'm there to race , don't mind running in A LITTle , my concer is the Lucas and hillbilly higher ups were there .... WOW !! There's an impression , what kind of repercussion will that have ????
If they pull out , will it bankrupt 77 ?
What will it do to the local buisness ?
There's alot of money on every aspect of that week , and with mineral wells ready willing to grab it , theres alot just dangling on a bad example

Ok, more ignorance is showing now. Carl, does not pay me anything. Second, I do not GUARD a pace truck for someone else. The pace truck's , all 15 of them over the years, where all mine, and had nothing to do with Carl and if you can add and subtract, you would clearly see that I also would have "guarded" pace vehicles for Rick Gross too. Hmmmmm. That is weird. Someone that was around back in the Gross years, and now too.

If you or anyone else of the rumor builders in your world knew half an ounce if what is all involved in MY life, step on up and tell me how it is, since you are OBVIOUSLY an AUTHORITY on everything.

Why dont you tell everyone who you are??? I do not have any other screen names. Where do you get that from? Since you obviously are a Frankie supporter, why dont you tell me what else about MY life you are an expert on?? Maybe I could learn something I did not know.

Um, no, I did not own the pace trucks. I purchased one of them from Budd Baer. What is your point?

Yes, I brought up Frankie as the only people on this board that wish 77 bad luck are friends of his it seems. Who are you? Why dont you enlighten us on how it should be. What track do you run? What big race are you responsible for?

Why do you keep saying I have many aliases? I dont. I am sure a pm to any of the moderators will reveal that. No you may have many, I dont know or care.

    So which is it? LOL

You brought up Frankie.....just like hes the first thing on yours and your aliases mind.... LoL I also SERIOUSLY doubt he wants to see I-77 or any other track crash. I only see one person with a LOT of names on here wishing ill will. Do you have a man crush?

It doesnt matter who I am.... Lets just say I am a LONG time racefan and also a LONG time 4m'er who can see through the bs....and is tired of a blowhard with an agenda... I am not responsible for any big race except buying tickets for them. Why does it matter who I am? LoL I dont swing your way either...
