Macon Speedway presents the 3rd Annual Shrine 50

The 3rd Annual Shrine 50 takes the Spotlight Saturday August 25th at Macon Speedway

The Decatur Shrine Club and Macon Speedway will join forces this weekend to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children. The 3rd Annual Shrine 50, a UMP Late Model 50 lap Feature Event paying $1500 to win, will highlight another exciting Saturday night of racing at the Worlds Fastest 1/5 Mile.
Shriners Hospital for Children, an international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Children up to age 18 with Orthopedic conditions, Burns, Spinal Cord injuries and cleft lip/palate are eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals for Children and receive ALL services at no financial obligation to families. Macon Speedway with the help of the Decatur Shrine Club has been able to donate over $24,000 to the Shriners to help support the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
All proceeds from Saturday’s Shrine 50 are donated to this tremendous cause. The 2nd Annual Shrine 50 was won by Cisco, IL driver Kyle Logue. Let’s make the 3rd Annual Shrine 50 the biggest yet!! Along with the UMP Late Models we will have Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pro and Amateur Hornets.
Advanced Tickets are being sold at several local businesses for only $10!!! Tickets at the gate will be $15 with Kids 11 & under are FREE. Gates open at 5pm, Hot Laps at 6:30pm, Racing action begins at 7pm
