Birky wins $7000 at PRP and some notes and results!

37 Late Models were on hand at PRP for thier Friday night,40 lap $7000 to win feature and the fans were graced with a racey fast track! Doug Drown would set fast time in Group A and Jackie Boggs would set fast time in Group B and overall.

Doug Drown would win the Dash,followed by Eddie Carrier,JR ,Josh McGuire,Steve Casebolt,Steve Francis and Jackie Boggs. Heat 1 was won by Jonathan Davenport,Rod Conley would be 2nd and RJ Conley would get the final transfer. Heat 2 Heat 2 was won by Shannon Thornsberry over Eric Wells and Jared Landers. Heat 3 was won by John Blankenship over Greggie Oliver and Nick Bocook.Heat 4 was won by Birky as he held off a late charging Jason Montgomery with Ben Adkins the final transfer.

The first BMain was won by Delmas Conley on a last lap pass of Michael Paul Howard. The 2nd BMain was won by Brad Neat over Howell and in this BMain for some reason,Earl Pearson JR was on the pole and didnt even come out!He must have forgot it was not a Lucas Oil race and thought he had a provisional LOL!

In the main Event,Eddie Carrier ,JR would get the early lead over Casebolt in a good battle with Doug Drown following closely and Boggs moving up on the highside.Casebolt got the lead from carrier right before a Brad Neat flip in turn 2 and Jackie got the lead from casebolt after he jacked Casebolts rear end up when Casebolt slid right in front of Jackie and Jackie didnt like it LOL and started slowly pulling away from Casebolt and Drown and at this time Carrier,Birky,McGuire and Blankenship were racing 2x2 wide for 4th in some darn good racing!

Jackie had a decent lead and Birky was slowly mocing up in the middle of the track and Landers was moving forward on the extreme high side!Then going down the backstretch with about 10 to go ,Jackies tire falls off and his good run had ended! Casebolt inherited the lead followed by Birk Drown Landers and Carrier!Nick Bocook was in 6th from 16th and Blankenship and good ole Delmas Conley from 19th to 8th!

Casebolt and Birky are racing hard for the lead with Casebolt up high and Birky in the middle!This goes on for 3 laps and then you notice Casebolt smoking and a lap later he slows with engine problems!Birky now leads and held off Landers and Landers lost 2nd to carrier as Eddie made a last lap pass! Landers got 3rd followed by Drown,Bocook from 16th to 5th ,Blankenship and Delmas from 19th to 7th,Davenport,Rod Conley and Jason Montgomery rounded out the top 10!Track was great tonight with racing all over from top to middle to bottom!I hope that dreaded "R" word stays away and Lucas lets PRP prep the track like this again!!

Great job guys! Hate to win races that way but if you put yourself in possition to win good things happen!!! Keep big Mo rollin the "World" is only 5 days away!!!! GO 15B!!!!
