Always enjoy watching Marlar. A lot can be done in 100 laps if you have the right tires.

Obviously he had just the right amount of tire dope..........hehehehe sorry, I mean tire compound that no one else had. Wonder if Jared Landers was pitted next to Marlar?
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out shouting "HOLY SHEET...WHAT A RIDE!"

Doesn't mean he had tire dope, means he made the right call on tires. Maybe out smarted some of the big boys???

    Default Unbelievable

The track was awesome for racing all night, especially the feature. Tire compound was a huge factor, when the others were slowing down, Mike was speeding up. Also let it be known that there were about 18 cars still racing at the end and only a handful were lapped. Awesome race, Don O'neal lead approx. 93 laps before settling for runner up.

from what i read he didn't even know he was in the race till a few minutes before it was time to line up. grabbed the softest tires in the rules and smoked everybodies behind. but i guess he had to be cheating to beat them big boys. couldn't have been talent that won it. just like the first one he won with that old wore out steel block motor.
