Thread: LR drop

    Default LR drop

I have an underslung car, but my shocks top out before the rear end gets to the underslung. If I added a shock extension and allowed the rear end to drop a bit more, what affects would it have on the car? It would only be about 1/2" more drop (before the rear end hit the underslung, so the actual drop at the tire would be more) I know it will add rear steer and bar angle, will it add any drive? Will I be able to run less rear split to get the car back to balanced? Or will I even notice a difference only going that little bit? I have been fast lately, it's just something I was thinking about trying and I wanted some "educated" thoughts on it. Incase it matters, I have to run the hard wrs-2 tires.

How much drop do you have now? You should get more drive without it getting too tight as the extra steer will help with that, but you might overpower the RF and cause a push. Give it a shot, thats really the only way too know.
