Default Rear end width on metric cars

What's the best rear end width for a metric Malibu? I got a option of a 58 60 or 62. What is the advantages an disadvantage of all three? All info is appreciated

    Default Opinion

Usually you want your rear narower than your front for track width.
    Fine tune with wheel offsets.
your shocks close to the wheel and less than 15* angle from vertical
and rear brakes 4wheel disk might be hard to avoid the frame on
    a metric with a 62"

    Just an opinion

    Default I run

    I runa 58 on mine
I think a 62 depending on rules would hit the inner wheel wells
Your shock efective would be lower cause your mount would be farther away from the wheel
and or you would have a lot of angle on it.
If you can run rotors in the back with weld on metric mounts you have to be aware of location
will hit frame with 4" of roll over
shocks if you have to use stock mounting might hit frame also

im not saying it cant be done im shure millions have

just from what i've read you should have 4 to 6" wider front track than rear track

I run a 62", it gives you the option to run different offset wheels. Although once I found my niche, i haven't changed offsets since.
    Just playin' in the clay
