    Default Mazda miata

Has anyone built a miata for oval track racing? Appear to have good suspension, and reliable twin cam engines.

There's a team back here in Ohio that runs a Miata on short paved ovals. The thing's a bullet! They run dual side-draft Webers, but I have no idea of the size of the carbs. I know little/nothing about the Miata engine. -Dave-

    Default Legal?

Some tracks dont allow 2 seater type "sports cars", may want to check track rules.

Miata's are solid racing sports cars, the extremely cheap 24 Hours of Lemons is full of $500 miata's, but before you run it on an oval make sure the rules say you can run a sports car. They are pretty solid cars. Lemons and the Chumpcar world series run them for 6,7,or 8 hours straight on back to back days, or 24 hours straight.
