Junction City, KY- September 29, 2012- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Larry Yantz and co-promoters Chad and Sarah Yantz will return to action for the 2012 season finale event at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” on Saturday October 6 as the track concludes its 40th season of racing competition with the 22nd Annual Fall Classic.

Ponderosa Speedway’s 22nd Annual Fall Classic will take place on Saturday evening October 6 and will see the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Late Models race 50 laps for $5,000 to win. There will be no entry fees in any division at this event. Twenty-two cars will start the A-Main events in all divisions. Also, for the Front Wheel Drive division, added weight to the car is legal and two-seater Front Wheel Drive entries are legal as well. All drivers will need to sign in at the registration window up arrival to the track and RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions.

Also, as part of the 22nd Annual Fall Classic and to help close out the 40th season of racing at Ponderosa Speedway, a special recognition of former track champions from recent and past seasons will take place after time trials are complete and prior to racing action getting underway.
