"186 Entrants Makes BIGGEST Event Turnout For FASTRAK Racing Series Going Into It's 10th Anniversary in 2013"

October 12th 2012 ** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) This time last weekend the "Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" the FASTRAK Racing Series was setting milestones. Beginning with the first ever television production to be on FOX Sports across the Country with four tape delayed one hour episodes highlighting the "Stars & Cars of FASTRAK, Visiting the "Wild & Wonderful" State of West Virginia for the $250,000 Final Extravaganza post-season event of the year in one weekend only. Having a new race format for the past Grand Nationals and renaming it the World Championships. Having only less than a month to have everyone put it all together after the announcement was made about the BIG event on Labor Day weekend. Finally the BIGGEST car count ever so far in the nine year history of the FASTRAK Racing Series. Yes it's safe to say it was a milestone event and a ball park HOME RUN with 186 Total Entrants for the FASTRAK World Championships.

When the gates opened up at Beckley Motorsports Park in Prosperity,West Virginia last Thursday and race hauler after race hauler and more rolled through the gates into the pits and it was four hours until Open Practice. We all knew we we're about to be apart of something special. At one point a total of 82 FASTRAK Pro Late Models hit the 3/8th mile facility speed-plant to shake their cars down to prepare for the weekends racing festivities. At one point when the question was asked to FASTRAK Founder/CEO Stan Lester, How many teams are here tonight?? Lester laughed and said "We've lost count. This is so special, I tell you when we think we have the car number correct, more teams roll through the gates. I can't tell you how deeply touched I am and so so proud of everyone for being here for this event."

On Friday another special event took place in the Championship format racing weekend and that was Topless FASTRAK Late Models. The side panels and bolts came loose as the roofs came off the cars for the Twin 40's (FASTRAK Black Diamond format) which drew 75 FASTRAK Drivers & Teams to enter in that special Friday Night Fights spectacle. The format was (2) 40 Lap A-mains with the Top 20 transferring to the World Championship Qualifying rounds and anyone in the Top 3 at there FASTRAK local track that was a member. The two A-Mains offered everything and more that had the entire crowd on the edge of the seat and standing more than sitting during the Topless twin Features won by #22 Chris Ferguson from Mt.Holly,NC taking down race one and Rural Retreat,VA's #44w Brandon Umberger capturing race two. The heartbeat of FASTRAK was rapidly beating that of the officials, drivers, teams and fans we're on cruise control and ripped, roared and ready for Saturday and the final day of the $250,000 FASTRAK World Championship Saturday.

As Saturday morning rolled around when many crawled out of bed they woke up to the sound of rain pounding the roofs where ever they laid their heads down the night before. It was cloudy gloomy start to the final day before Championship Saturday. However FASTRAK's Stan Lester and Beckley Promoters Joe and Billie Jo Jackson never at one point gave up or changed their course because of the falling rain. They were always positive and even prayed faithfully about the outcome. Even Billie Jo had FOX/CBS TV 59 Meteorologist Spencer Atkins inform them that it would clear by lunchtime. The rain would be gone yes but it would be chilly with temperatures down in the upper 30's. Clear but cold the race was still a go however just around the 5pm hour when the Grandstands we're opening up the man above blessed us with abundant sunshine until it set.

There we're 2 big race events to be decided on this night. 1st the FASTRAK Weekly World Challenge which pinned the Top 10 Weekly Track Points Members of FASTRAK in the Country to battle it out for 24 spots and ultimately vie for the $7,000 payday and to be broadcasted tape delayed on FOX Sports. 59 Entrants competed for this chance to be in the 50 lap Feature and be the first driver to win this NEW event apart of the World Championship weekend. When it was said and done a hometown favorite at Beckley Motorsports Park would prevail in a wild show and get a "Golden Pass" to transfer into the $22,000 World Championship #33 Chris Meadows was able to prevail on top.

There were a total of 52 Entrants that tried to fight it out in the alphabet soup for the chance to make it into the Biggest A-Main field of the year for FASTRAK and go for the chance at the $22,000 to win show to have the title FASTRAK World Champion. Only 25 drivers would get a chance to go at the big prize for 75 laps. After the Special Driver Introductions where the 25 Starters would climb aboard the back of Chevrolet and GMC extended Pick Ups from Beckley Auto Mall and make there way slowly around the 3/8th mile track and waving to the fans. (similar to a NASCAR Introductions on Sunday) The special 4-wide salute to the fans with the drivers waving pink and black checkered flags in honor of the Susan G Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The crowd was ready to see the "Best of the Best of 2012" in the FASTRAK Racing Series put on one breathtaking spectacle that had everything in it. When it was all said and done and the dust settled it was #111 from Centerville, PA's "MAD" Max Blair taking down the $22,000 payday and being entitled forever World Champion with the FASTRAK Racing Series. He's the three time Weekly Racing Division $10,000 Champion and 4 - Time FASTRAK Northeast Series Champion in 5 race seasons but he's always had the BIG show eluded him until a cold Fall night in Prosperity,West Virginia. After taking the checkered flag at the end of 75 laps he said during the interview that wanted to dedicate this monumental moment in memory of his Grandfather who passed away earlier in the 2012 racing season.

75 Topless Late Models Friday, 59 FASTRAK Teams signed in for the Weekly World Challenge and 52 FASTRAK Drivers signed in for the FASTRAK World Championship equals a Grand Total of 186 Entrants total for the World Championship weekend in Beckley,WV. That's the BIGGEST Turnout ever in the nine year running FASTRAK Racing Series. The event put a close on the 9th consecutive year for the tour and is "full steam" ahead planning to go into a decade of racing huge in 2013. It was announced and had a big reaction by those who attended the drivers meeting Saturday, that the Series is planning on expanding, broadening horizons and covering new territory for the 10th Anniversary for the FASTRAK Racing Series. One big announcement was that they are going to open up the East Bay Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida January 30th- February 2nd. More details will be coming soon on that event as we get closer to that big event and it will kick off again the 10th Anniversary of the FASTRAK Racing Series. In closing to have 186 Entrants was a true testament to all the hard work of so many people put into making this event the biggest event ever for FASTRAK Companies International period.
